RSV=respiratory syncytial virus
- RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a potentially dangerous, highly contagious virus that can cause respiratory disease. Symptoms can appear like the common cold.
- Anyone can get RSV, but it can be more serious for adults 60 and older, including those with underlying medical conditions, as well as babies.
RSV can be serious if you are 60 or older. Having asthma, diabetes, COPD or heart disease puts you at even higher risk. Even if you're healthy, RSV can lead to serious consequences if you are 60 and older.
ABRYSVO is a vaccine for the prevention of lower respiratory disease from RSV in people 60 years and older.
RSV is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can make your baby sick, especially if they’re under 6 months old.
ABRYSVO is the only maternal RSV vaccine given at 32 through 36 weeks of pregnancy to help protect babies from birth to 6 months.
